Cancellation Policy

To cancel and reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for a refund. Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. After this time, a charge may apply.

FAQ

Do I need to prepare for my health check?

For most checks, no specific preparation is required. However, for accurate results in some tests, such as blood glucose, you may be advised to fast for a few hours beforehand. We will provide you with guidance when booking.

Will I need to attend a follow-up appointment?

Follow-up appointments are not always necessary, but you may be advised to book one if your results require further discussion or treatment. This is always optional and is likely to be an additional cost.

How long will it take to get my results?

Finger-prick test results are immediate, while lab test results are typically available within 3–5 working days.

Are the lab tests included in the price?

Yes, all lab tests specified in the Silver and Gold packages are included in the cost.

Can I customise my health check package?

The Gold package allows clinically-indicated add-ons such as bowel cancer screening, PSA testing for prostate cancer, and cervical smear tests. If you have a specific concern, please mention this to us in advance so we can advise accordingly.

What happens if something abnormal is found during my health check?

Any abnormal results will be explained to you, and we will provide advice on next steps. You may be referred to your GP, our private GP, or a specialist for further investigation or treatment if needed.

How often should I have a health check?

It depends on your individual health and concerns. Many people benefit from an annual check-up, while others may choose to book more or less frequently depending on their needs.

What is the difference between the Mini Health Check and the Well Person Health Check packages?

The Mini Health Check is a quick 20-minute overview of basic health markers, while the Well Person Health Check packages (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) offer more comprehensive assessments. All Well Person Health Assessments include a thorough lifestyle assessment and provide an opportunity for early detection of problems with blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and silent markers of heart disease. The gold package provides additional opportunity to detect bowel, breast, prostate, cervical cancers.

How will my confidential health data be processed?

We recognise that when you give us personal information (which includes health information) you’re trusting us to take good care of it. Can the GP provide a private prescription?

After a discussion of your health concerns, the doctor may issue a private prescription if deemed clinically necessary. There is no additional cost to providing a prescription, but the cost of the medication will be charged by the pharmacy.


Please note that repeat prescriptions as provided by your NHS GP or controlled drugs/ sedatives/ sleeping tablets will not be prescribed by the clinic.

How do I book and pay for my appointment?

You can book directly online by using the "Online Booking" tool. Select the apointment type you would like from the drop-down menu and choose a date and time. Payment will be taken at the time of booking.
